Dynamic content tagging with FontoXML

Many businesses recognise the potential value of structured content and structured classification. The opportunity for improving content discovery and re-use is substantial. However a lot of organisations come to a halt when it comes to moving from theory to practice.

I've created a short video demonstration to show the practical process of taking narrative content stored in a suitable repository and classifying it using a structured taxonomy in PoolParty. An important intermediary in this process is the web-based structured text editor FontoXML; you will see how an author or content professional using this text editor will receive suggestions in real time for appropriate concepts, drawn from a remote taxonomy, to classify items of content. This example uses a structured compound document in DITA format. I also introduce the idea of constructing semantic triples out of these tags to provide the base components for building out a content knowledge graph.
